Ms Brown is a lawyer and company director. As a lawyer she practised extensively in the health and insurance areas for over 20 years. Subsequently Ms Brown was appointed Chief Executive of Thomson Playford Lawyers a position she held for 5 years. Ms Brown now concentrates on her directorships She is currently the Chairman of Local Super and immediate past President of the RAA of SA Inc. Her other board roles include the Motor Accident Commission, the South Australian Government Financing Authority, Bio Innovation SA, RAA Insurance Ltd and Business SA.
